Agreed, does have a good insight into the game and will call out what he’s sees as wrong, greedy or just stupid! So like him for that.

Always having a dig at GSB at any opportunity, especially Sullivan which makes me laugh.

Big mouth, opinionated, smug and loves himself. I like him a lot

Scorch.

Again,I'm in total agreement.

Iv'e been a huge fan of Baker's radio work for more than 30 years. Saw him on his solo tour a couple of years ago and again earlier this year for one if his shows which he co hosted with Bob Harris. Great nights out and both Hartis and Baker have lived amazing lives.

Definitely! He’s like his good mate and namesake Mr Baker. Interesting and intelligent to listen to. A dying breed looked over for brainless, uninteresting but prettier and younger people who have nothing interesting to say.

Top bloke is Simon, those that don't like him are a bunch of ignorant dribbling oxygen thieves

Coventry should roll out the red carpet

Scorch.

The podcasts with DK were indeed excellent.

Jordan was very straight talking and Kelly has been one of the best sports broadcasters in the country for years.

He dates Michelle Dewberry doesn't he? I let you decide if that meets your definition.

Re: Simon Jordan
I read on this forum many years ago that a
poster once met Jordan in the Prince of Wales pub Ilford. Perhaps the original poster can verify the story.

I worked with a Palace fan who went to the same school as Jordan and he reminds him of their old headmaster!

I don’t listen to talk sport but the way Jordan lost his money with Palace was undeserving.

He seems a man of principles and I agreed with him the way Spurs signed John Bostock was unacceptable. The player lost out by having an insignificant career

Re: Simon Jordan
Must admit I do enjoy it when he has a pop about Sullivan. Amusing that Palace ripped Sullivan off for Andy Johnson.

Sir Alf 8:18 Wed Aug 17
Re: Simon Jordan
He really has no time for Sullivan and Gold and especially Sullivan who he suggests ( walks a tightrope with his words to avoid slander etc) is a liar and generally a "wrong un".

Hence I like him :-)

IHis book about his time owning palace was an entertaining enough read for a holiday paperback. Less than complementary about GSB for a start.

What would a blow dryed ex Palace owner want with a 22yo ROI international?

DISGUSTING

Re: Simon Jordan
Really enjoyed the podcast he did with Danny Kelly who despite being a Spurs fan I very much like listening to. (Football's Deadly Sins) Very good stuff.

Clever, self made bloke with fascinating insights in to the murky world of top flight football but obviously like most owners he thinks he's a saint in a world of sinners and his shit don't stink.
